Op-Ed: “Preserving the Well-Being of Professional and Paraprofessional Staff: A Call for Stress-Management & Self-Care Training”

  • In this piece, I articulate an understanding that wellness is a broad concept comprised of emotional, physical, social, environmental, relational, spiritual, moral, and intellectual elements. Additionally, I identify positive and negative impacts on wellness and, as appropriate, seek assistance from available resources.

  • In this analysis, I recognize the importance of reflection in personal, professional, and ethical development. I also identify and address ethical issues within my organization, RPS.

For example, in my discussion of the "Student Driven" and "Ethic of Care" models, I am able to show how a focus on student development, and different aspects of student development (such as leadership) occurs in different ways on different campuses.
